Colindale Consortium

Bringing service providers together in Colindale

The Colindale Consortium was established in 2014 to bring together the different service providers in Grahame Park. In 2016 members decided to extend this to include the wider Colindale.

Currently the Colindale Consortium has 22 members, made up of small local organisations and larger public organisations who provide services to improve the economic and social well-being of people living in the area.

The forum provides a space for organisations, groups & charities to offer each other different kinds of support. Groups can pool resources and expertise and work together to bring much needed funding to Grahame Park and Colindale. The Consortium can now boast many partnership successes.

The Colindale Consortium also played an important part in the Grahame Park Neighbourhood Change model and pilot. Findings identified the positive feedback the Consortium’s commitment to partnership working.

New groups and organisations working in Colindale and Grahame Park are welcome to join the Consortium

Over the past year consortium members have worked together to deliver the following projects in Colindale and Grahame Park:

  • Free Ceramics classes for families
  • Free henna & face painting courses for residents
  • Trips for community groups to the RAF Museum
  • Grahame Park Independent Living Group and FUSE Youth Project secured funding from National Lottery Community Fund with support from CCT
  • 13 residents achieved Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in various subjects including teaching and business skills.
  • 20 residents have attended training courses
  • 2 residents have moved into paid employment
