Shaw Trust

We offer free health and job support programmes across Barnet to help you find or keep a job.

The Shaw Trust programme, Connect to Work, is government-funded to support people with health conditions. We provide personalised help to find the right job and keep it.

Our on-site employment specialists are at Grahame Park Old Library, Tuesday to Thursday, 10am–4pm.

Upcoming courses to look out for...

Level 2 Customer Skills Course

This course covers: customer service, work experience in a business environment and communication at work.

These courses are run regularly, so keep an eye out for upcoming dates!

Level 2 Work Skills case study:

The Autumn 2024 Work Skills Course ran for 10 weeks at Grahame Park Community Centre, helping local residents to improve confidence, develop skills and enhance employability. Delivered in partnership with Colindale Communities Trust and Barnet & Southgate College, the programme was further supported by Change Grow Live, the RAF Museum and The Shaw Trust (Make It Happen, Grahame Park), offering tailored training, guidance and real opportunities for progression.
